Cassie Quimby, Lead, Nature Camp Instructor
.
Cassie QuimbyCassie is a current student at Unity College in Maine, where she is working towards her B.S. in Captive Wildlife Care and Education. Growing up in a small town in New Hampshire (not too far from VINS), she has always had a deep appreciation for animals of all kinds, from big to small. Now a returning VINS Nature Camp Instructor, Cassie has been working with children since her early high school days. For the past three years she has also been working with animals at several different farms. Those experiences are what led her to pursue a career in captive wildlife care and education, where she hopes to provide children and families with opportunities to appreciate and explore the natural world and the animals we
share it with.
.
Cassie’s favorite thing to do is to go out riding on the trails, with her horse Smokey Joe! She is excited to begin the summer and to meet both new and returning campers.
