February Homeschool Day: Animals in Winter

$30 per child; FREE admission for 1 parent/guardian
Join us at the VINS Nature Center for a Homeschool Day! Each lesson takes place in our Outdoor Classroom or August Pavilion which provide the perfect settings for outdoor exploration and nature play in the company of other families. Portions of the lesson also takes place in warm, indoor locations. This three-hour program will deepen your understanding of how animals adapt to changing seasons. Test out the “blubber glove” and other ways of staying warm and guide a toy otter in the snow to catch fish. Hop inside to warm up with games and a chance to make a small bird feeder.
