Join us for a full day of Halloween fun. A campus decorated with jack-o-lanterns and activities all day will be sure to delight guests of all ages. Costumes encouraged!

10 AM – 4 PM: Animal Artifacts
Discover how much you can learn from pelts and bones in this hands-on activity. (Next to reptile room)

10 AM – 4 PM: Spooky Crafts
Join in the spooky season with these crafts inspired by nature and changing of the seasons. (August Pavilion)

10:30 AM – 11 AM: Peeps & Squeaks
Enjoy a puppet show, crafts, and songs in this interactive program for young audiences. You’ll get to meet a live bird up close. (Neale Pavilion)

11 AM – 11:30 AM: Predators of the Sky
Watch our ambassador raptors fly through the air, and learn about their amazing adaptations! (Hawkfly)

1 PM – 1:30 PM: Songbird Aviary Tour
Join a staff member to learn more about the songbirds that call VINS home in our walk-through exhibit showcasing some native songbirds. (Songbird Aviary)

1:30 PM – 1:50 PM: Peeps & Squeaks

2 PM – 2:20 PM: Scales and Serpents
Just in time for Halloween, come meet our resident reptiles in this engaging program featuring live snakes and turtles. (Hawkfly)

2:30 PM – 2:50 PM: Raptor Feeding Time
Watch our resident raptors get their dinner and ask a VINS staff member all about them and their wild counterparts. (Exhibits)

3 PM – 3:30 PM: Predators of the Sky
