Forest Fairy Hunts
Where do milkweed pods become bathtubs and beds, and acorn caps become dinnerware? In Fairy Town at VINS, of course! Building fairy houses with natural materials and trekking through the VINS forest while hunting for fairies offers children and their families a unique opportunity to connect with the natural world and to nurture respect for the environment.

Come visit VINS for an adventure sprinkled with the magic and wonder of forest fairies with a visit from our Fairy Grandmother and fairy house building in Fairy Town. Wearing wings is encouraged!

10 AM – 12 PM
Meet the Artist
As you enjoy the Raptor Exhibits, keep an eye out for guest artist Jessica Fligg. Observe as she creates a piece inspired by the beauty of our campus.

1 PM – 3 PM

VINS is supported by wonderful members like you! To acknowledge and thank you for supporting our mission and work, we invite you to join us on Get Outdoors Day for our Member Appreciation Event. We will be serving light refreshments to registrants and holding a raffle.

*Please note, you must have an active membership as of June 10 to attend this event, or if needed you may renew your membership upon arrival at the Welcome Center. Complimentary Day Passes and additional Admission tickets can be used/purchased upon arrival at the Welcome Center.
