Artist on the trails: Kathleen H. Peters
As you enjoy the VINS Nature Trails, keep an eye out for guest artist Kathleen H Peters. Observe as she creates a piece inspired by the beauty of our campus.
About the Artist
Kathleen Peters lives in Canaan, NH where she has been an artist for over fifteen years. Accomplished in several media, she creates timeless pieces inspired by the natural beauty of the Upper Valley and the greater New England area. Her work reflects her belief that art is beauty born of goodness and offered as a gift in love. While Kathleen’s work can stand alone, most of her subjects were intentionally chosen in order to speak into the lives of the people around us and the culture we share. Her artwork is intended to add beauty, healing and regeneration to the world.

Forest Fairy Hunts
Where do milkweed pods become bathtubs and beds, and acorn caps become dinnerware? In Fairy Town at VINS, of course! Building fairy houses with natural materials and trekking through the VINS forest while hunting for fairies offers children and their families a unique opportunity to connect with the natural world and to nurture respect for the environment.
Come visit VINS for an adventure sprinkled with the magic and wonder of forest fairies with a visit from our Fairy Grandmother and fairy house building in Fairy Town. Wearing wings is encouraged!
