Description:
Join VINS and Trail Break for an evening of good food, cold brews, and a chance to explore the Nature Center after hours. This event is designed for an adult audience, ages 21 and older only. Dinner and drinks provided by Trail Break.
TRAIL BREAK’s taco trailer will be on site for their first event of the season! Come enjoy their food & beverage offerings at the event and then plan to head to their Quechee restaurant once they reopen for the season the following week!
How is it exactly that the Peregrine Falcon was brought back from the brink of extinction? What is an evolutionary arms race and why are ducks in the running to win it all? Well, the answers to these and many other nature questions you may have aren’t necessarily PG. At the VINS Night Owls event, you’ll have a chance to get answers to all the questions you can’t ask during the day!
Attend a live raptor program where we hold nothing back and let it all fly. Listen in a series of Ted-style talks with VINS educators to take a deep dive into topics such as raptor anatomy, courtship and mating, and conservation history. VINS’ exhibits, Canopy Walk, and spider web will all be open to the young at heart during this event. Finally, wrap up the evening with some friendly competition in a VINS inspired game of trivia.
