Ever wonder how birds know which way is south, or how a turtle can breathe underwater? Join a VINS educator to discover all the different ways our wildlife survives winter. Meet some of our animal ambassador survival specialists and learn each of their methods for dealing with the cold. Next test out your skills in a migration scavenger hunt, a hibernation habitat search, and a foraging foray.
*Pre-registration is required. While registration for the event is free, general admission to the VINS Nature Center is due upon arrival.
**The first part of this program will be attending the public program, Animals in Winter, after the program, Registrants will continue on their survival journey with an educator.
