Play games to learn what it’s like to hunt as an owl and take a closer look inside the food chain through an owl pellet dissection. Round off the evening with an owl prowl on the VINS nature trails in search of wild owls. After the prowl\, treat yourself to some Superb Owl snacks! \nDetails for Participants:\nParticipants should be prepared to be outside for the duration of this event.\nWe encourage participants to bring a flashlight/headlamp and dress in layers. \nCancellation Policy:\nCancellations are discouraged. VINS is teeming with real-life Pokémon\, frolicking about feeders and chattering in the trees. It’s the perfect opportunity to study them and he needs your help to catch them all\, not with a Poké Ball but with your smartphone camera! \nIn participation with the Great Backyard Bird Count\, learn to count and identify these real life Pokémon. Once you capture as many different Pokémon as you can on camera\, head back to the lab to report your numbers and show your photos to our team of Pokémon scientists who will help you to identify them and teach you all about them. \nAs a gift from Professor Oak\, for each different Pokémon you find\, you can bring one home in the form of a playable and collectable card!
