802.359.5000 | WILD BIRD REHAB: x510
OCT 22 to NOV 20 - With a goal to raise $13,000, these funds will support VINS’ environmental education, research and wildlife rehabilitation program, as well as the thousands of children, families, educators, adult learners and avian patients who benefit from them each year.
Join us as we explore the natural world through the eyes of raptors. Be amazed by these efficient predators in an engaging presentation featuring VINS’ feathered ambassadors.
In this encounter you will explore the fascinating lives of raptors. Delve deep into subjects ranging from how we rehabilitate hundreds of birds each year, the fundamentals of how we train our raptors to the specialties of certain raptor groups like falcons and owls.
Join a VINS Educator to learn all about our resident reptiles! We’ll listen to stories about how these creatures got their awesome adaptations, and meet a turtle or a snake.
OCTOBER 30 - Join VINS for the day to celebrate Halloween. Our programs have a "Halloweeny" theme and include Scales and Serpents and Owls in Myth and Legend.
OCTOBER 30 - Hoots & Howls is a family friendly event. Each portion of the day is designed to be educational, nature-based, non-frightening, and fun! Together we will conduct science experiments, rediscover the magic of storytelling, and get up close to snakes, owls, skulls and bones.
