Become a citizen scientist! Project FeederWatch is a winter-long survey of birds that visit feeders in North America. Join VINS and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology from November to April*, when we need you to collect data on the wild birds that visit our feeders. These observations will help scientists track the movements of winter bird populations, and study long-term trends in bird distribution and abundance. Spend a few minutes warming up in the VINS Classroom, try out the binoculars, and explore the diversity of bird life with touchable artifacts. Help us make new discoveries today!

Note: Bird count results are tallied on Fridays and Saturdays.

*Project FeederWatch at the VINS Nature Center will end on Saturday, February 29, 2020.
