Homeschool Days

Homeschool lessons at VINS for PreK to Grade 5

Due to popular demand, we are launching several Homeschool Days throughout the year.  Our first Homeschool Day will be on Monday, November 9.  Three separate classes, based on age and grade level, will be taught concurrently, all focusing on the same general topic.  Anyone can sign up for these days, whether you participate in our regular series, are on one of our waitlists, or you want to come to just one day.  Come join us for a morning of science, nature and fun, and then stay for the afternoon to explore all that VINS has to offer!  *Parent/Guardian presence is required during the lesson.

  • Participants will be required to complete a health pre-screening prior to arriving at the VINS Nature Center before each lesson.
  • Participants are required to wear masks, maintain social distance and wash hands prior to the start of the lesson.
  • All materials are disinfected before and after each lesson.
  • Frequent masks breaks are incorporated into instruction.
