Each lesson includes songs accompanied by a ukulele and large, realistic hand puppets that bring the topics to life and help launch the toddlers on their fun-filled adventures.

Program Package

Teachers receive a list of topics from which to choose lessons that align with their curriculum. We require a minimum of three lessons, but we can come as often as desired! Lessons are designed to foster a variety of developmentally appropriate skills for young children. VINS Science Educators are always available to discuss the program goals with the classroom teacher and explore ways to integrate Wee Wonders into their curriculum.

Wee Wonders Program includes:

An engaging puppet, songs, poem, movement and nature exploration.

Activities, guided play and natural materials.

Lessons typically last 20-30 minutes and end with a closing song.

Program Fee: $100 per lesson, plus $1.25 per mile to cover travel expenses and the educator’s time. Scholarships are available. Please email Hannah, Senior Director of Education if you need financial assistance.
