Before and during college, Dave worked at several Quaker summer camps across the eastern states, stoking his love of the outdoors. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Indiana University and has worked both as a social worker, primarily in the field of community mental health and as a carpenter for many years. Along with his wife and 2 daughters, Dave moved to Vermont to take a position on the year-round resource staff at Farm and Wilderness Camps. Since that time he has been the Facilities/Farm Program Manager at the Intervale Center in Burlington and the Facilities Manager at the Upper Valley Waldorf School. Dave has been Lead in the Maintenance Department, here at VINS, since the spring of 2019.
