VINS welcomes corporate support and offers a wide range of corporate sponsorship opportunities. 

Many companies offer Employee Matching Gift Programs that multiply your individual contribution. Please ask your personnel or benefits manager if your company has a matching gifts program and about the forms you need to submit to qualify.

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a philanthropic investment account established for the sole purpose of supporting the charitable organizations you care about, and provides an immediate tax benefit to you. You can donate to VINS through your DAF today.

How to Recommend a Gift to VINS:
Step 1: Request a grant distribution through your DAF sponsor.
Step 2: Provide your DAF sponsor with VINS’ EIN #03- 0231665.
Step 3: Indicate whether your gift is unrestricted or designated to a specific cause or program.

When you make a Donor Advised Fund gift, it’s possible that the sponsoring organization will not share your information with us. Unless you prefer to remain anonymous, please reach out to development@vinsweb.org so we can make sure to thank you and ensure your gift gets where it’s intended.

Does your employer match gifts from Donor Advised Funds?
Many donors don’t realize that their employers might match their gifts from their DAFs. This is an amazing way to increase the impact of your gift. Simply ask your employer if they match DAF grants.

Celebrate all sorts of occasions by making a gift in honor or in memory of someone. This unique gift is ideal for birthdays, holidays, weddings, or just about any occasion. You can also remember a loved one by making a special memorial contribution in the form of a bench at the Nature Center or a dedication on an exhibit through our Dedications Program.

The Soaring Society represents those who have demonstrated their loyal commitment to the Vermont Institute of Natural Science at the giving level of an annual gift of $10K and more, and shown their shared dedication to our mission to motivate individuals and communities to care for the environment through education, research, and avian wildlife rehabilitation.
