Amanda grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania and worked throughout the Mid-Atlantic at conservation focused non-profits. She graduated from University of Delaware (2011) with a BS in Wildlife Conservation and completed her Master’s of Environmental Studies in Biology at University of Pennsylvania (2015). In addition to her work on a variety of field biology projects, her career includes policy analysis on Capitol Hill, project management in industrial engineering, field biologist for US Fish and Wildlife Service, and agroecologist on organic farms. Amanda’s passion for linking research, land management and community outreach led her to move to Vermont in 2022. She started as a member of the Guest Services Team at the VINS Nature Store and joined the Development Team in 2023 where she oversees the Membership and Adopt an Ambassador programs.
