Bren discovered his passion for wildlife rehabilitation while volunteering at VINS during college. After graduating from UVM with a BS in Zoology, he began working at the Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation at VINS. In the rehabilitation department, he works to improve patient care by bringing principles from medical research, small animal and human medicine to avian rehabilitation. When not working, he enjoys the outdoors, especially wildlife photography and hiking with his dogs Bear and Chrum.
