(she/her)
Celia grew up in Delaware, and was introduced to the field of wildlife rehabilitation in the summer of 2022 in Maine, where she worked with Center for Wildlife as a wildlife care intern. After going back home to finish her bachelor’s in wildlife ecology and conservation at the University of Delaware in 2023, she returned to Center for Wildlife as a seasonal wildlife specialist. Following that position, she interned at the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center to get more experience with avian rehabilitation specifically. Celia came to VINS as a seasonal avian rehabilitator in April 2024, and has since become a permanent staff member at our Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation.
