Chris’s passion for environmental conservation and education led him to VINS where he enjoys working with a very talented team dedicated to furthering VINS mission of education, research, and wild bird rehabilitation. He joined VINS in 2004, first working as an Environmental Educator and now as the Senior Director of Operations and Exhibits. In his 20+ years, Chris has had an impact on almost every corner of the VINS Nature Center: he has managed all aspects of the facilities, Nature Store, admissions, and the Center for Wild Bird Rehabilitation. He has managed new exhibit projects including the Birds are Dinosaurs exhibit, a natural playground, the forest exhibit as well as being instrumental in the design and installation of the Forest Canopy Walk. He holds a BS in Ecology and has a certificate in Nonprofit Management. Chris lives in Hartland with his wife, two children, dog, cats, chickens and bees along with all the exciting wildlife of the Upper Valley.
