Visitor Expectations

At the VINS Nature Center, it is our priority to create a safe environment for all our visitors and staff. We ask all visitors to follow our COVID Visitor Expectations.

VINS will refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with our COVID Visitor Expectations.

Cross State Travel Guidelines

The Vermont Forward plan brings changes to cross state travel rules, including quarantine and testing requirements. The Vermont Department of Health provides cross state travel guidance for Vermonters traveling out of state, visitors to Vermont, and international travel.

Masks Required

VINS Nature Center requires all visitors two years and older to wear a mask or face covering over their nose and mouth at all times. No exceptions, even for those with medical conditions. If you are unable to wear a mask for any reason, please do not visit at this time.

If you forgot your mask, do not worry! We have complimentary masks at our Admissions window, please ask.

Maintain Social Distancing

Stay at least six feet away from others while in our exhibits, on the trails and during live animal programs.

If You Are Sick, Stay Home

Please visit us another day if you are feeling sick.

Wash Your Hands

Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the VINS Nature Center for visitor use.

Visitors will be asked to provide contact information which allows us to reach you in case there is a health concern.

We require that you reserve your tickets in advance (including VINS Members).
