Erica is a naturalist from Springfield, VT, where she grew up on a small farm. She studied anthropology and environmental education, which led her to Yosemite and Acadia as a park ranger, and into several conservation nonprofits in California, Utah, Arizona and Colorado. Upon returning to Vermont, she started working with VINS in 2024. She loves hiking with Lucy (her Brittany spaniel), road trips, birding, and checking out interpretive trails in parks.
