Meet at the VINS Nature Center

Join VINS on Global Big Day to count birds alongside participants around the world. We’ll begin at the VINS Nature Center and travel to several nearby locations, exploring diverse habitats to maximize the number of species we encounter.

Connect with other birders, hone your ID skills with the help of VINS staff, and build your eBird or life lists.

Details for Participants
The Bird Count will be held outdoors, rain or shine. Participants should dress appropriately. Field guides and binoculars are recommended. Binoculars will be available to borrow.

Designed for the intermediate to advanced birder who wants to contribute their ID skills to this global initiative, but all skill levels are welcome.

Global Big Day is an annual worldwide birdwatching event that is part of World Migratory Bird Day.
