802.359.5000 | WILD BIRD REHAB: x212
APRIL 2 - AUGUST 31 - View artwork by Margaret (Peggy) Lampe Kannenstine in the Neale Pavilion at the VINS Nature Center. Peggy is a local artist whose acrylic paintings and works on paper have been shown widely for decades and can be seen in many collections around the country.
In this intimate encounter you will explore the fascinating lives of raptors. Delve deep into subjects ranging from how we rehabilitate hundreds of birds each year, the fundamentals of how we train our raptors to the specialties of certain raptor groups like falcons and owls.
MAY 22 - VINS is celebrating its 50 Year Anniversary this year. We would not be celebrating this milestone without the support of our wonderful members like you! Join us to visit with our bird ambassadors up close, enjoy light refreshments, raffles, live music, and more.
MAY 25 - Ever wake to the dawn chorus of songbirds and ask what are they doing this early in the morning? Want to get better at identifying birds by sight and sound? Join VINS for an early morning birding adventure through the forest habitats at the VINS Nature Center. During this workshop, VINS staff will open your eyes and ears to the avian life around you and help you build the skills to start birding wherever you go.
