Spring Series

Spring Series: Baby Animals

When: Tuesday, March 8, 15, 22, 29
Where: Virtual via Zoom
Cost: $60 per child

What’s happening in nature in the spring? A lot of baby animals are being born, of course! Join a VINS Science Educator online to learn about how baby animals are similar to, but not exactly like, their parents. Explore the strategies different species employ to survive the challenges of youth and learn what it means to be precocial or altricial. This series will include time to explore nature and play games outside.

  • Little Explorers (Pre-K to Grade 2): 10:00 AM
  • Nature’s Adventurers (Grades 3-6): 11:00 AM

Registration Deadline Friday, March 4

Parent/Guardian presence is required during all programs.

  • Participants will be required to complete a health pre-screening prior to arriving at the VINS Nature Center before each lesson.
  • Participants are required to wear masks, maintain social distance and wash hands prior to the start of the lesson.
  • All materials are disinfected before and after each lesson.
