(she/her)
Mya is a naturalist with a passion for all wildlife from insects and reptiles to birds and mammals. She grew up with a passion for learning about all the plants and animals around her. This led to Mya to pursue her bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology from Unity College, and continue her education at Marshall University where she researched eastern diamond-back rattlesnakes. After completing her master’s degree, Mya moved to Vermont and found a position at VINS in May 2022. She still loves to identify all the living things around her every day.
