Virtual Home Sweet Habitat

Help Otis the Otter find his home as we investigate animal homes, match animals to their habitats, and learn some habitat songs.  Extended activities include creating your own habitat scene out of natural materials, checking out your own backyard or nearby outdoor area to see who may live there as well as exploring many other activities in our virtual field trip classroom.

Your field trip includes a 45-60 minute guided program including a live zoom with one of our Science Educators featuring an introduction to animal habitats with fun and interactive live activities, as well as a live bird presentation with one of our resident raptors, and an introduction to our virtual field trip classroom which offers extended activities for your students including a virtual tour of the VINS campus.

Virtual Home Sweet Habitat is suitable for students in grades K-2. Work with our educators to specify the right combination of in-depth analysis and comparisons for your learners.
